I think the cat and mouse game of trying to catch their ad servers every couple of days is an ineffective solution and it would be much easier to do this: (atleast on desktop) Completely block out the youtube player in html with a content blocker.

So if Pandora, Roku, or FireTV display ads from the same web server (or it comes from the same domain) pi-hole can’t block it without also blocking what you want to watch.
