Notchy shifting
WebJul 14, 2015 · The shifting was somewhat better today, not like it had been but better than yesterday for sure! The thing that I don't understand is the inconsistency of the notchy shifts. When I say notchy, I mean that it feels like I hit a "bump" or two between neutral and a gear being fully engaged. Also, shifting into first gear has become much more ... WebDec 20, 2024 · If you always shift along the right patterns it is a beautiful feeling shifter but if you are unsure of the gear positions and go hit the side of the gates it starts to be notchy and stays that way for some time, until you train again to the right ways. I am getting much better at shifting and now it feels great, unlike at the beginning.
