The characters introduced in it might look interesting at times but as the story moves forward it goes all flat. The filler characters act like plot devices (literally).

Brotherhood faithfully adapts the manga's ending, tying up every plot point and character in beautiful fashion. It feels organic, weaving in every previously introduced element of the story and completing the story at its natural close. SpletThere beginning of FMAB is paced a little strangely because it is covering the exact same thing as 2003 FMA. I think they were trying to rush passed the stuff that was already adapted once and get to the manga exclusive stuff that 2003 missed out on. In my opinion 2003 does the beginning of the story better but FMAB is overall better.
